Swollen Hand

My swelling was from years and I really did'nt know how bad it was until I was on mtx (methotrexate)... now I know how bad the swelling can get...for me the knees swelling is really bad, then the hands and feet....
Hopefully, once your on the medications your swelling will get better, make a note of this so you can ask your doctor about the swelling and when you'll see it getting better, as these are very good questions...

My rheumy gave me a shot between to first two knuckles of my left hand a few weeks ago. It made a huge difference - swelling is down and I can make a fist again. I hope you find some relief.

I was swelled up like Shrek during onset but now I rarely swell and when I do it's barely noticed. I found when I was swelled up big I had less pain in the swollen areas????Almost like it was a cushion?
