Foot pain

Hello I was wondering if a foot doctor can help relieve pain and inflammation fluid on the foot or does it all fall back on my rheumatologist?

From what I've been told by orthopedic and pc Dr, feet are a specialized treatment. I have had feet issues, but not fluid (my left foot is barking right this second) Maybe you could get in to see a podiatrist. Good luck.

I'm confused myself. I've got annoying heel pain and I've told the rheumatologist who shrugged it off. Who cares for it? Primary care doctor or podiatrist?

My vote would be to see if primary would give referral to podiatrist. Keep us posted. Have considered asking for referral myself. When I have flare, that's where I get it, and I have experienced bumps on top of foot that comes and goes too.
