Hi biscuitsnbeans (cute name by the way)
try not to worry you may not develop RA from what I know about
Palindromic Rheumatism it comes and goes and doesn't cause lasting joint damage like RA So this is a Positive thing for you
and it Dose Not mean you Will get RA it is a good chance you Wont So try not to worry before it happens
we have a saying; "you have buried the dog before you have hit it"
meaning you have not hit the dog with your car but you have worried about
burying it.
Sorry your Husband has RA that must be an Extra Burden on you - on Both of you
as for hand pain I get different sorts
Burning
swelling
locking (trigger finger) this happens if I use a trigger spray bottle
Aching
and sometimes a sharp Stab or electric shock which makes me drop whatever I had in hands at the time.
Wish you all the best and hope you keep popping in the the forum for a chat whenever you feel worried or just whenever .
