Bloody Lesions?

OK.  Not sure what this is from but I want to see if anybody has anything similar & whether it is Crohns, RA, or perhaps immunocompromised side effects:

 

I get these bumps.  There are 2 about 3 inches up from my ear in my hair, they feel like volcanos.    The same on the other side too.  One is a giant lump coming out near the base of my neck right by the hairline.  I've one on each side of my head in the hairline near my temples.  After they explode or ooze, they turn crusty and actually increase in size.  Now they are at the point where they're scaley and very dry.  And my hair is thinning and getting really thin around the hairline. 

I've a few of these oozey lumps down my spine and another on my upper back....and they leave horrific scars.

Sound familiar?

nah, not like a zit.....more like a boil!  very large and hard and red...then it erupts kinda; then dries and gets patchy and flakey and patchy.  all around my hairline and then more far into my scalp.  a few down my back.  i've also got a dry scaley patch that spreads across the lower half of my chin up to my cheek.  this is new, never had skin probs before except pustules all over my lower legs; but they went away when i went on the TNF's.

i'll let em' look at it at next appt.  maybe it's from the pred?  just been happenning since december since i've hit this major flare that won't go away.

Psoriasis patches can ooze, mine do, and of course they are scaly and dry and itch... but they aren't like boils... the skin underneath the lesions or patches do get raised, but they don't resemble a boil... interesting... Maybe it is related to the CD... when do you get to see your doc next?  Have you tried putting any type of cream or ointment on them?  I would say to see a dermatologist to try and figure out what they are... And yup, PA does go along with psoriasis, however, you may not get it... keep your fingers crossed! Good luck girlie, let us know how it goes - Duck

i see the rheummy march 6th and my GI on march 13th....i have a feeling the rheumy will just say, "wow, no...i've never seen anything like that."  but i have a good feeling my GI will know what it is or who to see about it.  i mean, they aren't painful...just unattractive and i can't comb my hair sometimes because they'll bleed.

it's the least of my problems.  i hust don't want open sores all over my head because i've very low WBCs & don't want them to get real bad & infected.

we shall see!
