it's awful isn't it?
i would suggest, write down everything EVERYDAY about the pain, what brings it on, how it doesn't go away, the pooping, cracking, intensity of the pain, all of the specifics, and how it is interfering with your everyday life. it's good to do this NOW while it's happenning. you might be right, when may 1st rolls around the pain might not be as terrible as it is now...and when it's not that bad....we tend to forget HOW BAD it was.
gosh, that's too bad about the apointment. i pray there's another cancellation for a half hour or something.
you know...the question i hate the most is when the MA takes you into the Drs room & asks, "So what is hurting you today?" and in my head i'm like "well everything where do i start?" and many times i tell them evrything & it's just too much, they don't write all of it down! hah!
i feel for you! all of my joints are effected by RA and it's rare that i get a few days of tolerable quality of life without too much pain.
may 1st is a few days away....keep thinking of that.
rest well. take good care.
