I just received Bluecross HMO through my work. I am curious approx. how much will I be paying for my meds. Does anyone have any experince with Bluecross HMO. I'm on Pentasa right now, but I will need something with a little more umph.

I have not used Blue Cross, but how much you pay will depend on the contract/deal the company made with them.....it can vary based on how much your work is willing to dish out to get you insurance coverage.

ok...i had Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield NJ HMO and for my Pentasa 4 grams per day...my copay was on the higher end of $250. that was a shocker when i went to p.u. @ the pharmacy. and guilty as charged...i didn't take the medication for about 5 months because i had no money for it.
through medicaid it's covered.
