Anyone have Sjorgen's?

I'm usually dealing with Crohn's but in the last little while I've progressively dried out -- I hardly have any saliva anymore, my eyes itch, the inside of my nose is dry, I ache. I haven't been officially officially diagnosed but I fear it's Sjogren's. I was wondering if any members had experience with this and especially what they do about an extremely dry mouth and throat. Is anything effective?

hi onPEI,
i believe Curley deals with Sjogrens Syndrome, i'm sure once she sees this she might be able to throw you some good tips.
since Sjogrens roots are systemic, the treatment is really to help the symptoms w/ lubricants, lozengers, eye drops, etc... be sure to bring up your reservations to your doc about this.
one tip i can give is to avoid any mouth agent that contains alcohol...it will only dry out the mucus membranes further. LUDEN'S cough drops are great, they have no medicine in them & just fruity enough to get the salivary glands going without being overpowering.
