Hi,
about once every 2 months I wake-up with fairly intense pain, localized swelling, tenderness, and loss of flexability in either right index knuckle or middle finger knuckle. The funny thing is is that the symptoms last only a maximum of 48 hrs, then I'm 100% again. I hope this is not a precursor to arthritis.
What is going on? Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks,
Mike
Well, it is definately arthritis, not a precursor to it.
You should see rheumatolgist to see what kind of arthritis it is.
It sounds very similar to psoriatic arthritis but it may also be gouty one.
Relax, it cat remain on this severity or even can remit, but it realy sounds like arthritis.
