My journey with Enbreal

Well I have high hopes for Enbrel after reading everyones post about it, and I have been taking it now for three weeks, I give my self 2 shots a week 25 mg each.  I dont know if it was in my head but i really started to feel better after the first shot I have felt pretty good the last couple weeks so good that I actually got out of the car a acouple times and forgott to grab my cane! Anyhow today I fee like crap I am very stiff but I have to take the weather in ti the factor and I am also weening off the prednisone, also the fact that I have not got any rest since last week doesnt help.

So after the initial far of giving one self a shot and relized I was worried for nothing. that part was easy. I do have to tell ya'll though here I am the otehr day getting ready to inject no big deal and I did it and it hurt like holy hell, i was totally not expecting it!! Well I got a vein!! talk about brusie all across the top of my leg!! Thankfully I am have very fair skin tone so now I kinda can look and see if there might be a vein near by.

So three weeks in, I still have high hopes of feeling better and better.

How long before everyone else really started to feel good and normal when taking the Enbral???

Hi....I am on my fifth week. I thought I wasbetter at first. Then I got an respiratory infection and felt worse. This week I have felt much better more energy. I don't know if it is possible to feel normal again. I think I am seeing improvements.

Kelly Shaley how are you doing with the enbrel. I'm feeling better on my 5th week. I hope we all keep improving.

Well I am off to the Rhumy today for a check up, I have been on the Enberel for about two months and have seen some improvement, but not as much as i would like, I am still weening off the roids but its hard. The last two weeks my feet and ankles have stayed swelled up big time, I think I may be retaining a lot of water i drink alot of it all day at work so we will see. And this may be completely unrelated but something else that has happened in the last month is I have seemed to developed Rasatia (spell?) my cheeks are really red and looks like broken blood vessels. I have always been blessed with very nice skin, most of my life, never any acne, pimple ect. so maybe its catching up with me?
anyhow like I said I am feeling better but still not very mobile like I would like to be, but i guess i cant complain I can get out of bed and get to work. I cant expect a miracle. Trying to plan a vacation is kinda depressing having to make sure everywhere is handicap accessible and have amigos to rent! I am very heavy set and I know that has alot to do with everything, I found a diet aI am going to try. I would really love to just have the gastric bypass and get it over with but the red tape is a pain in the rear!!!
