my 26 year old daughter has been diagnosed ana postive. Her doctor wants to refer us to a specialist. is this a good idea or not. And how much pain do people stay in being ana postive. thanks

Hey there.. welcome to healing well.. where is your daughter's pain? How long has she been having this pain? What type of specialist does her doc want her to go to? Hang in there.. take good care.. Duck

My daughter has been in severe pain for several years. she is a special need child. They are wanting her to see a rheutemoloist.(sorry cant spell that yet.) She also has osterporosis , epilepsy, speech impediment, poor motor skills but we are surviors. We want all the prayers we can get and the best medical care.

first I would like to welcome you to HW,
I sure hate to see some like your daughter have to suffer like this,it's just not fare at all.Could you tell me what her ANA is?I do agree with her Doctors wanting to send her to a Rheumatologist.This way they can help get her on some meds that will help her.I would like to point out that with your daughter having so much pain you may want to ask for a refferll(sp)to a pain clinic.Ok now as for the replys,when you see a post that you want to read and or post to you just click on it and it will pop up and you can read them and post.Please let us know what you find out from the Rheumatologist.I want you to know that I have your daughter in my thought's and prayer's.Just hang in ther and thing's will get better.
