Enbrel to Humira

I have RA - 30+ years. Was on Enbrel for 3 year and it stopped working. Was OK off it for 3 months - on Relefin and Plaquenel. Now that's not working anymore.

1-has anyone tried Humira AFTER triyng and fialing on Enbrel?

2- which do more people prefer the auto pen inject or the pre-filled syringe? How do the eneedles compare to Enbrel 25mg?

This is assuming my ins. will cover it with a reasonable/affordable co-pay.

doc very hesitant to try meth cause of liver problems.

Welcome Klassy, glade to have you. I have never been on Enbrel but am on humira and it has really helped me in more way's than one.I tryed Remicade and I built up ant-serum sickness and I was also kept getting infections and I sure as we know that you can not take Remicade,Humira and Enbrel.Iwas thenput on Humira and at the time I started taking Humira I was in a wheelchair because I no longer could walk because I was so swollen and I was having some very bad joint pain.I have CROHNS,RA,OA,AS,SEJERENS as well.But when all else failed the Humira started to working and I was able to get out of that wheelchair but I had to go to pyhsical theraphy five times a week because I had lost all of of my streanth in my leg's so I basicly had to learn to walk again.I still deal with alot of severe pain.the Humira has helped a good deal with the pain.I do hope that you do as well on it as I have.
