popping/cracking sound??

Hi All

Can someone tell me what causes the popping/cracking sound I have in my R hip is is very very loud and happens only sometimes is it a release of gas I herd this somewhere

Hey there Bob.. welcome to the Arthritis Forum.. Normally when joints "pop" it is the fluid pockets moving around in the joint.. is there any pain when your hip pops? Before or after? Can you put pressure on that leg? Good luck and let us know how you are doing..
