Ok I need to whine a bit.

Hey everyone long time no see. Seems i only read this board when im having a rough time. I got the usual RA pains, seems like every hour it moves around. I was on pred for 3 weeks last month. Since then i have had about 10 episodes of extreme chest pain, thinking heart attack warnings. Tightening of chest on left side, pain through to my upper back, up my neck and in my jaw. When the pain comes, i break into a cold sweat and get lightheaded. Another new problem is, my whole body shakes uncontrolably, limb tremmors/moves on its own. My right eye is constantly twitching and my close up vision has gone all blurry. Does anyone have these issues because of their RA?

Time to visit a cardiologist. Tremors and twitches can also be consistant with electrolyte imbalances such as low calcium which can result in cardiac arrhythmias as well. Chest pain especially with the associated symptoms you describe (radiation, sweating and lightheadedness) should never be ignored. Good luck and don't waste time.
