reply to Ra anf thyrois

i guess the reason why i am asking about the relavance between ra and thyroid (mine is hashimoto) is because I just had an ultrasound done on my neck yesterday because of a lump I've had for about 6 months. It's probably just coincidence but all these things seem to be coming out all at once. I've been sick for 5 yrs. with all bloodwork and tests coming back normal, noe within the last 6 months 've tested positive for antithyroid antibodies, Rf,My x ray shows arthritis in my spine. I'm really nervous about this last test though. I know it's common to have nodules on your thyroid but this is more on the side of my neck higher up and it just keeps getting bigger. Well, hopefully I'll know by tommorow, just really nervous I guess. Thanks for all the replies.

i don't know too much about the thyroid...but from experience i have seen many MANY people with autoimmune arthritis AND throid problems.
mine for instance is hypothyroidism...supposed to be on Synthroid but my heart was just too jumpy out of control on it.
keep close communication with your docs.
