Does having the anti-ssa/anti-ro found in your blood mean that you have the syndrome?

I've been found to have the anti-ssa in my blood work..I haven't been told specifically that I have the syndrome, and I'm wondering if there are other factors to be included in the diagnosis?  It did say "dry eyes" in brackets next to the finding..I'm just curious.  Thanks.

 

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate it. I'm just trying to piece more and more parts of what's up with me together. To make as much sense of my illness as I can, and to be well informed. I will ask my Rheumy in one of the next visits..unfortunately I have a barrel full of questions to ask, and you know how it is? They usually don't have time to answer ALL of them:) I definately have dry eyes, as they seem to lack moisture more than ever before. I never used to feel like I'd blink, blink, and then blink some more, only to have just as dry eyes as I did a moment ago...I can shut them for a good long time and they still feel dry. I've never been told that I have scratches on my eyes when I've had eye exams though. Sorry to hear about your eye troubles. That sounds a lot worse than mine. Must be very unpleasant. Hi, I find that my eyes and dry mouth are the worst.  I use visco tears eye gel, and biotene toothpaste and mouthwash.  Even without definite dx you can use things to help you.  My skin does get dry, especially on face neck and ears, I just use a moisturiser for it.  Take care
