Hello everyone.
In October I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I am not completely confident in the diagnosis because before the pain, fatigue and other symptoms I first had a disappearing/reappearing rash for several months prior. I still have it now. It tends to be on my chest most mornings and nights but can appear anywhere at any time. It generally doesn’t last more than a few minutes though. My docs say it’s unrelated yet they don’t know what is causing it.
Recently I have been having vision issues and my eyes, mouth and lips are dry. I went to the eye doc about the vision issues and he said there wasn’t anything physically wrong with the eye. To my knowledge he did not do a dryness test and I did not know to ask for one. At the time I was only having eye pain and vision issues.
I have had tons of blood work done and everything comes back normal. I recently saw an neurologist and he is having me do some brain and upper spine MRI’s next week to help rule out some other possibilities. I have also been tested for allergies when the rash fist started happening. Turns out I’m not allergic to anything. I was also tested for parasites and nothing was found.
There seems to be several conditions that share the symptoms I have but none that account for everything I have experienced. I was wondering if any of this sounds like Sjogren’s? I understand no one here is a doctor but the opinion of someone who has gone through it is very valuable to me.
Disappearing/repapering rash, vision problems, dry eyes, dry mouth, pain in all areas of body, joints snap and pop, night sweats, insomnia, tingling feeling in feet sometimes, weakness, fatigue, unrestful sleep, occasional lack of appetite.
Thank you for your time.
