Fibro, Sjogren's, MS?

Hello everyone.   In October I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I am not completely confident in the diagnosis because before the pain, fatigue and other symptoms I first had a disappearing/reappearing rash for several months prior. I still have it now. It tends to be on my chest most mornings and nights but can appear anywhere at any time. It generally doesn’t last more than a few minutes though. My docs say it’s unrelated yet they don’t know what is causing it.   Recently I have been having vision issues and my eyes, mouth and lips are dry. I went to the eye doc about the vision issues and he said there wasn’t anything physically wrong with the eye. To my knowledge he did not do a dryness test and I did not know to ask for one. At the time I was only having eye pain and vision issues.   I have had tons of blood work done and everything comes back normal. I recently saw an neurologist and he is having me do some brain and upper spine MRI’s next week to help rule out some other possibilities. I have also been tested for allergies when the rash fist started happening. Turns out I’m not allergic to anything. I was also tested for parasites and nothing was found.   There seems to be several conditions that share the symptoms I have but none that account for everything I have experienced. I was wondering if any of this sounds like Sjogren’s? I understand no one here is a doctor but the opinion of someone who has gone through it is very valuable to me.   Disappearing/repapering rash, vision problems, dry eyes, dry mouth, pain in all areas of body, joints snap and pop, night sweats, insomnia, tingling feeling in feet sometimes, weakness, fatigue, unrestful sleep, occasional lack of appetite.   Thank you for your time.

I agree with Sueg, you should be seeing a Rheumatologist and it does sound like you could have Sjogrens. I do not have the rash but I do have night sweats sometimes and I do have nausea at times along with joint pain, insomnia at times, pain in my feet, etc. I have RA, Sjogrens and Fibromyalgia. If you have Fibro, it could cause the nausea.

I have fibronyalgia but also have the Sjogrens. It seems to go hand in hand sometimes. The fibrous affects all the systems so you end up with multiple health issues. My eyes have been affected by the dryness to the point I have corneal mapping, or dystrophy. Good luck in your search for help.

The tingling in your feet.....are you a diabetic or have you been tested recently for adult onset (type 2) diabetes? Sounds like diabetic neuropathy which can be very painful. Neuropathy can be caused by other things, but even if you have no family history and your weight may be perfectly normal you should ask your doc about testing (not just a blood sugar but there are specific tests for figuring your average peak sugar level, etc in the preceding days)

I ask only because I have numbness and tingling in my right arm and both legs/feet (although a bony mass growing in the center/top of my right foot is probably causing symptoms to be worse in my right foot and leg---along with swelling from right hip to my toes). My doc did the test on me because I also have lost a ton of weight (30+ lbs in < 4 mths) without trying, this after gaining for most of my 40's (I am 50). You don't have to have had any other symptoms, its often a silent onset in adulthood
