I find that I suddenly get very sweaty, light headed and nauseous when everyone else feels fine. Can this be part of Sjogerns?

Welcome to our forum Roxy56. I have a terrible problem with sweat, but not the light headedness you describe. Lots of lupus patients have problems with sweating too. I haven't found a reason for the sweating. If you google and find anything, please let us know! Love, Butterflake

I do  not encounter allot of sweating but sometimes night sweats - just not frequently.  Are you taking any of the medications for dry mouth?  Those can make you sweat and feel dizzy....just a thought.

If it continues, make an appt with your dr just to have it checked out - if they say it is common with sjogrens than at least your mind can rest.

People with Sjogrens cannot regulate their temperature according to my doctor. Yes, it comes on like a hot flash with me and eventually leaves. Some medications make it a lot worse, so pay attention and you may figure out that one of your meds contributes to the problem. With me, Lyrica and Neurontin make it worse. Oh, and yes, I have the nausea and dizziness. It also comes and goes. I take something for the nausea.
