Hi everyone! I am new to this forum. I was diagnosed with Sjogren's 5 years ago. For those five years I have been taking Plaquenil and had been doing well although my rheumatologist had increased my dose to the maximum. In Dec. last year I had one of the longest and worst flares I have had so far and he changed my med to Methotrexate and stopped the Plaq. Now I have been on the Mtx for 3 months and my lab work came back better, but my sinuses and my eyes have gone crazy! The dr. put me back on 200 mg. Plaq. again, and I feel like there are little signs of progress--all except my sinuses. I wake up all hours of the night sneezing and sneeze all day sometimes. My eyes are dual waterfalls during the day and at night they are Sahara Deserts. I have an eye dr. appt. in 2 days, but he probably wont address the sinus issue. Ever since I was dx with this disease my nose has been drip, drip, drip and my skin, well, I could cry over how my skin feels. I have shaken hands with commercial fishermen whose hands were smoother and softer than mine. So, does anyone else sneeze like this? It feels like needles or crawly things inside my sinus and then it starts.
