Hi - New Here

Hi all - I am newly diagnosed as of January this year with sjogrens.  I was relieved to finally find out what has been causing me misery for some time, but sad to hear what sjogrens can do to you.  I was started on plaquenil and at the six month marker I saw dramatic improvement but the end of July I was slam dunked by a flare of some sort and have had difficulty getting back to where I was.

As everyone knows we all have good days and bad days, the bad days seem to outweigh the good lately. 

I am wondering if anyone else out there is taking anything else that may help that I can talk to my rheumy about?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry you have been having a bad time.

Sjorrens has been kicking my butt to lately.   Extremely dry eyes, nose and mouth and a hacky cough.  Restasis helps

the eyes, saliva plls and biotene the mouth, nasal saline helps the nose some.  I have been so stuffy I can't sleep at night, vick salve has helped the nose dryness and the stuffiness.

Not sure what  ailment is causng the body aches.   I had a infusion of Rituxan  Friday and will get another one n two weeks, hope it helps everything.
