Confused about my BF 's behavior?

Hi all,
I love you all!My bf 's behavior is mind boggling as weekend approaches,he seems maniac ?Today we had to go to friend's birthday party that we were invited to since 2 months but bong out of blue he seems to get upset and throwing tantrums ,tells me to go alone .I only want to go as a couple but he is giving me headache now.
What should i do now?i am so sad & lost

I experience the same type thing as your boyfriend.  I feel very anxious to attend social functions to the point that I know longer want to go to church.  My pdoc calles it situational anxiety.  She put me on vallium for that but at this point it isn't helping.  The only thing I can suggest is that you do go alone and try to enjoy yourself.  If you attend any of his counseling/dr visits you might bring this up or disucss it w/your bf at a different time.  Good luck, Krisitn

thx wonder for your support,if i tend to go alone ,when i return he tends to be jealous and feels left out and fights more .So i feel like walking on eggshells all the time.I am affected by his mood cycle and it dampens my spirit too,as he doesn't seem to enjoy life at all sometimes .
Feels like he can never be happy or never let me be happy.He loves to be sad or make me sad when i am looking forward to something or show him i m happy.
I am getting more depressed by all this.I don't know how to make him understand.
