Hello everyone - Im new and glad I found here too. Im bipolar 1 and diagnosed nearly five years, been stable for three (mostly) but doing reasonably for the last six months (if that makes any sense!) I was a rapid cycler, life in shreds many times - long long story - probably very familiar to a lot of people, I was very resistant to medication for a very long time - I was adamant on doing it my way! lol - I m still not pro meds bot I had to back down a little. My lifes a lot better now - I have three great kids and a job I love. I see my new psych tomorrow - we have no connection at all - she s my sons age! - my old psych gave her her "stable" cases as she's new and Im one of them. Im also diagnosed with OCD and PTSD but I only really have problems with the bipolar (I think) anyway - once again - Its lovely to be here, kind regards, Tyanna

Hello Tyanna,
Welcome to the board and to HealingWell. It's lovely to have you! Glad to hear you're stable (as stable as we ever get
) and doing okay right now. I'm doing okay too. I really look forward to hearing what you have to say on the board. Chime in as soon as you like.

Thank you Serafena - Im just back from the psych appointment, do u ever come home feeling like you made a pure fool of yourself
I had a lot on my mind and just babbled away lol - she kept referring back to things in my file from a long time ago - I have trouble remembering what happened yesterday! ah well! I wanted to explain things to her but in the end I decided to just shut up and cut my losses hehe - another appointment next week with her and her senior so I guess I confused her (and myself!) take care xxx

I do have that feeling sometimes. And I definitely have the feeling I didn't talk about
the things I wanted to. When I have a topic I really want to talk about
, I write it down, because otherwise in the thick of things, I'll forget.
