Hi Cecil,
I think you should ignore what "Haha" wrote to you in the last post. Doesn't sound right to me.
My dad is bi-polar. He has been since his teen years, and he's now 56. He was diagnosed and started Lithium treatments about 10 years ago. What a difference it has made for him and us! Unfortunately, his marriage to my mom ended after 8 years, due to his mood swings. It really does play a huge factor in relationships Cecil. I know it may be expensive to get treatment, but isn't it worth it to have your life back? to have a steady, even, healthy relationship with your special woman? I really hope you get care for this. I know as a daughter of someone with manic depression, that it means EVERYTHING in the world to have your parent and partner in a healthy state of mind. Do it for YOU!!!!!!
All the best,
Ginny
