Hi everyone,

I'm not in the hospital!

I'm taking a little break though and I've got the most convoluted arrangement to see a psych you've ever heard of. I really didn't like my new psych and the only one I liked was in St. Louis 6 hours away. So for now I'm going to see him once a month. The in-laws are great with that, my husband is "Whatever works" and the psych is fantastic. Already over the phone he started cutting down some drugs. So, I'm here, but resting. You may see me occasionally. I love you, be good.

Serafena, Over the phone works too!  Especially because you are very responsible and honest about where you are at and how things are affecting you.  Other than the "visual" he gets from looking at you (and you could do that via webcam with him), there is not a big difference.  If you have found someone that works for you, and he is brilliant.....STICK WITH HIM.  Get your rest and feel better.  BIG HUGS.....LFW

Checking in! I'm doing okay. We're planning our next trip for next week, so I'm just hanging out for now. I hope you all are doing okay. I'm fighting to keep my head above water and part of that involves keeping myself busy. Today my DH and I went and played miniature golf. He beat me by 2 points. The scamp.

Nice to hear from you!  Hey if traveling a distance to see a pdoc that you feel is working well for you, is what you gotta do....then I say go for it too!   I had to make some touch decisions too regarding my healthcare and my husband agreed that we will do what we have to do and manage it somehow.  I'm glad that  your family is supportive in your decision as well!

 

I hope the new med adjustment is working for you.  Fingers crossed!

 

Let us know what happens next week at your  appointment.

 

In the meantime....take care and "hang tough" tongue

I hope you are able to make this arrangement work. It is nice to find a good trusting doctor. It helps so much with your healing.

Thanks everybody!

I'm doing alright!

I saw my new doc today and he continues to alter my cocktail, which I appreciate, and he's sooooo nice. He spent like 40 minutes with me! I scarcely even mind paying him the big bucks. Anyway, We're getting our lives back together, school starts soon for my DH the prof, and I've got to find a way to get some order in my life. That's next.
