Well the forums are back, hooray hooray! But we lost a couple of days of posts and days of contact. So how is everyone doing?

Things have been fairly OK here. I actually got a job but I don't think it'll be to stressful and I'll be able to do it since it's secretarial and I can do that in my sleep.

Still kinda have rough days but I have an appt on Monday so we'll see what more happens.

Doing ok. Busy with school. Kind of down right now, out of concern for my baby brother (who is 35). His wife told him on Friday that she doesn't love him anymore and wants a divorce. Everyone...even on her side, is shocked by this. Kinda came out of no where. They have 3 little girls and my heart just breaks for them all. So just trying to be there for him in whatever way I can.

I hope everyone else is doing ok. I know when the weather starts to cool many get depressed. I hope no one is too down in the dumps.

Serafena, How you doing? It's been awhile. How are things going for you at home and with school and the new med changes? ((Hugs)) 

Topsyturvy, Glad to hear about your new job. Best wishes for that working out for you. How did your appointment go on Monday? mommy.michele, I'm very sorry to hear about your brother. I understand why you are a little bummed out. Do what you can but I hope you don't let it get you too down. This is his walk and he has to go through it. I'm sure there are other family members that can chip in with support so that you don't have to get too involved. I mean that with all sincerity...I don't want his mood to bring you too far down. Take care of yourself.

Sukay, I'm hangin tough. Had a few more health concerns that I had to take care of and some of them are pretty tricky relating to what I already have on my plate so I've been spending more time getting lots of tests done.

I like the cooler weather and shorter days. It forces me to slow down and focus more on myself. I read more and bake treats more for the family.

My dog has been very ill and that has brought me down but she is finally getting better so I am too.

I'm still rapid cycling and I keep forgetting to take that afternoon dosage of my mood stabilizer even though I set my alarm, I keep saying..."Ok, I'll do that in a minute and then forget." I'm very irritable at times but other times I feel very, very sad and just want to give up. I see my therapist every two weeks.

I'm really sorry to hear your health hasn't been great, but I know you,if anyone, are hanging tough. Having a sick pet is really hard. Far harder than we can plan on. Take care of yourself. I'm thinking about you.

The weather, yep, now that I actually had a deck this year to sit out on, and since it's been raining and cold almost everyday for the last 2 weeks, it has not helped my depression one bit.  I usually love the fall, but this year I still want to be out on the deck.

Sukay, I hope your dog is okay.  Our dog and cat are our whole lives, and I still remember Halloween 3 years ago when my kitty was so ill we had to take him to the emergency vet.  I remember pacing in the waiting room waiting for them to tell me something, I thought I was going to lose him that night.  But our black kitty (Mogli) is still with us, thank goodness.  As for our dog, he has ear infections a lot, he just got over another one, so that is always stressful.  Hopefully your girl is better, I know she was in good hands :-)

Serafena, I know you were going through a lot, I hope that each day has been getting easier for you.  You have been in my thoughts, as you all are.

Mommy.michele, hope your brother is coping.  What a shock.  I can't imagine....Hope you are doing well.

Topsyturvy, I just got a new job as a secretary too, I can relate, hope yours is going well.  Working is good, I think.  I don't cope well staying at home.

Hi, it's been a while.
I just got through a hard time. It seems that when I am really good and when I am in the depths of "the pit" I don't check in, but then I remember this helps and I come back. The fall has been hard on me too. I got so angry and down and teary when the cold set in- I was just a time bomb waiting to be set off. Sort of like PMS, but at the wrong time of the month. One day of sunshine warmth and it was better, but when the rain started again, so did my tears. My house was getting too cluttered with kid stuff and boxes and laundry that needed put away, and I couldn't go outside to get away, so I think that made it worse. I got help getting the living room clean, and it helped me breathe a bit.
I'm glad that I got a chance to read what's been going on in your lives. You all have so many things going on. Mommymichele, I hope that you remember to keep yourself well in all of this. Take care of yourselves and it is good to be back.

Going through a bit of a rough time. My husband has been out of work since August 10. He is our only source of income. It has been very hard, and my fibromyalgia is acting way up! But so far, I am still stable mentally. More anxious than is normal, but not depressed or manic. It is amazing that the meds and prayer have helped me to not bottom out. This all is probably why I haven't been posting lately.
