 Please be patient with me. I have never done anything like this before but I feel so alone.

Welcome to the board! I'm pretty new here too, but I'm sure you will find there is a lot of knowledge, experience, and positive energy here on the forum. I have been dealing with the mood swings and resultant actions/consequences of bipolar disorder my whole life and only sought treatment and really embraced the idea that I have a treatable medical condition a week and a half ago. It has caused  alot of up and down as far as anxiety and worry go, but I feel so much better after spending time talking to the fine people here!

So when you're ready, why don't you tell us a little about your situation and a little about you :)

  WElcome to a great place to ask questions, get support, and find out what living with this desease is all about.

   Please feel free to tell us about yourself when you get comfortable. If you read some of the other posts here you will see we are very non judgemental, and very supportive. Heck if there is a mistake, screw up, wild emotional swing, or other general all around crazineness that we havn;t experienced as a group here, it probally doesnt exist. LOL LOL LOL

    I say this to everyone i meet here that is new, scared, confused, and just generally in a lot of pain.  YOU ARE NOT ALONE

   We all have been there and done that, some of use suffer from more of the depressions, others more of the manias, however we are a wealth of experience that are truly the only people who will understand what you are really going thru.

   Hope this helps you, post more when you are ready.

Welcome Tosassy, that's a cute name and as you have been advised we are all hear and all ears. We have all found comfort and support within eachother and hope you join our group with open arms. Being new is ok we all were there once. Happy bill and tainted are very correct when they say we have all done just about everything and if there is something we haven't done well it probably doesn't exist. We share our mistakes with out anyone passing judgement on us. We all realize we need support from the people who understand us most which is all the people you will meet in this forum. Alot of the things we have discovered may not make sense to the normal people but in our own minds we get it and accept it to the fullest extent. It's ok to share any feeling or emotion you have we have all been up and down lets us be your support group to. Bipolar people are refered to as beepers you may hear that term once in awhile. We are all glad you reached out and very happy to have you with us. Hope to hear from you soon...
