OK...I am a marriage counselor which requires I be half half sane...at least when I am in session or not manic (then I talk too much....poor clients can't get in a word edgewise) But, anyway, somehow I muddle my way thru the counseling UNTIL last week. First of all out of nowhere (don'y even know where the heck it came from) I tell a client that I really loved her sweater, EXCEPT she wasn't wearing a sweater. Then I had a couple who was ralking about communication and I blurt out "Fire trucks are big and red." They looked at me like I was totally nuts as I tried to pass it off as just something a little weird, but don't be concerned.....yeah, right. Now a new work week is beginning and I am nervous of what I might say. Seems at times I have no control what I blurt out, but the second I have done it, I realize it, but the damage is done. I put my clients thru a lot, but they stick with me....don't know why.
