Abilify and grapefruit juice

Dear forum users,
I am wondering about the effects of grapefruit on Abilify.
My pdoc said not to eat grapefruit or drink the juice because it would change the effects.
Has anyone else heard this?

What exactly would it do -- make Abilify less effective? change the effects?

I'm feeling scientifically curious and have access to grapefruit juice, so.... **^^**

I don't know the specifics but I do know that quite a few meds recommend not being taken with grapefruit juice.
How does grapefruit juice affect medicines?
