Welcome lady! I couldn't honestly say how big we are because most people read and aren't active in conversations. I think there are between 20 and 30 people that I recognize and about a dozen that are very active.
If the public forum is too much for you, join us on chat days. Usually there are just 2 or 3 people in the chat room at a time and you can use the private feature so that only one person sees what you write. It helps on those days that are overwhelming!
I hope to see you around. Feel free to start a new topic and introduce yourself, if you like. It's not required, but we like to know who is reading! We like to meet new people and see how we can all support each other!
Hi tortoise!
Thanks for the welcome
Your board sound just right for me. I have belonged to a messageboard for over 5 years
it's small but very active. We talk about a varity of things but I tend to complain and
talk about my personal problems too much. I felt I needed to find a place where people
shared my disorder and could understand how I struggle with my daily life.
When I have more time I will post more about myself. I am actually going out with a friend today, something I rarely do and it always helps me to get out.
I'm a very active poster at my other board so I'm looking forward to talking with your posters and sharing our lives dealing with bipolar disorder.
BTW, I love chatrooms but I have yet figured out how to get into this one, I'll play around with it later.
Bye
