New medications after hospital...

Haldol and zoloft....Is anyone else on these meds if so, have they helped you. I took Zoloft a long time ago, but It did nothing for me back then, which I told the doc. I have never taken Haldol and everything I've read on it has been bad....can cause heart failure kind of bad and both are making me drowsy as heck. I guess drowsy is better than manic and going into rages though...Although, I'm drowsy, but still can't sleep more then 2 hrs a night, still cleaning like crazy, sex drive is still through the roof, and I'm still very irritable....Any help would be appreciated. Not sure I want to take these while being pregnant, worried about side affects. But, docs said the dosages are low right now to help keep the side affects down because of the baby and that the side affects GREATLY outweigh the side affects of me being manic and out of control...Thanks.

I think I took Haldol many years ago. Its an oldie. Don't remember how I felt
Zoloft, also an oldie, loads of people love it. And have stayed on it forever. Wouldn't that be nice?

Be patient. I too think you may be feeling a little better and are just so concerned about everything happening around you, you haven't realized it yet. Hopefully will get even better. No mania is certainly a good thing.
