Anti-Anxiety Meds causing Hypomania?

I normally cycle really fast, usually the longest my cycles are are around 3days and I've noticed i normally stay towards the low end during my period BUT this time it didnt even phase my mood and I've been hypomanic for almost a week since I've started my Clonazepam. My pdoc said to take them as needed, didn't say how many times a day or when to stop taking them and never returned my call about it either. On my days I have classes I've been taking about 2mg(4pills) and it takes my anxiety down enough where I can concentrate but not gone completely and I dot want totake more than that, I did look it up online before taking that many, and work(I work with my grandparents so I can take a break from ppl when I need to in a secluded room) so I've only been taking 1mg(2pills). Just curious if this could cause the length of my hypomanic stage? I don't have an apt for another month and my pdoc is horrible at returning phone calls.

I was thinking of cutting it out all together because if I only take two it just takes a little bit of the edge off but not enough to make a difference on my focus in classes and I'm still jumping out of my skin, so I don't see the point of taking any of them if it's not going to work. Ugh I'm so tired of medications and I've hardly taken any compared to some people on here.

I have been taking clonezopam for the last 5 years up to 3mg per day. I have never noticed a mood change just my anxity and panic fade. U may just be cycling. I am on 600mg seriquel and a few other drugs and still cycle. Trying is right u need to put in an urgent call to your dr and if there is no response start shopping for a new one will work for and with u.

Haven't gotten a call back from my pdoc, which isn't shocking, I'm just waiting it out with him until I get insurance in Jan(yay for insurance finally!) He's been pretty crapty so far, including taking me off seroquel when it had started kicking in, putting me on lithium(which caused hand tremors) and then just hands me scripts when I walk, without bothering to tell me side effects or anything. I've called a few times, but he doesn't ever call back, so I'm just riding it out until Jan. I haven't stopped using it, but my cycles for hypomania have been nuts, I've been hypomanic like two weeks at this point, which is great for getting things done, but I tend to get easily agitated and annoyed VERY on somedays, others I'm entirely too friendly for my own good...So I'm really hoping I calm down, I was so anxious the other day that I ended up sleeping for 9hours after an exhausting day, which helped the next day but today hypomania kicked right back in. I feel like my head is going to explode!

I haven't, I have pretty bad allergies to, well to everything lol, so I'm nervous due to the skin rash but when I get insurance in Jan I'm going to talk to the new pdoc and give them a chance to diagnose/medicate and see where they want to take it, don't want to try a new med and have a reaction when I have no insurance!

I was taking 900mg of lithium, and he told me not to worry about the blood work! Can you believe that?! I told him the next visit(3months later after my cycles got really bad again) that I wanted to be put back on seroquel right then

Haha, actually, my psychology teacher has been amazing! I've been talking to him about my meds and dosages and what not, he's the one who helped me come up with what I was going to say to get my pdoc to help me with my level of anxiety and told me the meds to accept taking and which ones not to. He's been amazingly helpful for someone who is just my professor!
