Between registering for new classes, hoping my grant goes through in time, working AND also trying to get this Scentsy home catalog business off the ground I think I've taken on a little more than I can chew. On top of that, my pdoc refuses to wean me onto my seroquel the way I need it so I can't take it in the morning or else I fall asleep and miss work AND classes, which I can't afford, and 200mg doesn't even phase me for helping with cycling, so I've been cycling crazy fast every couples days! I'm soo ready for my insurance to kick in in January so I can have a new pdoc. Thanks for letting me vent.

Don't understand about the weaning and the Seroquel.
Some pdocs are boneheads. Wonder how they even stay in practice.
I don't cycle like that, so can't comment there. Am pretty much depressed all the time.
Good that you see the "light", at the end of the tunnel, you will be able to get a new pdoc pretty soon.
If you can visualize, do this. See a shelf on the wall. There are pretty ceramic cannisters on it. Take one down and open it up. Take all your concerns about classes, put them inside, and place the cannister back up on the shelf. Do this with each of your issues. When done, straighten them and adjust them so the pretty decorative side shows. Stand back and admire the good job you have done. If you really have to, take down one at a time and re-examine it.
Can you do deep-breathing, simple meditation?
Haven't heard of Scntsey, but maybe it is a lot for you to add at this time. Good luck with that. Are you sure you can't cut down your class load by one?

I'm trying really hard to stay on track with classes, this was my first semester of college, after dropping out of high school almost 5 years ago, so I ended up dropping two classes, I just finished one, and I have two more to finish by December. Just signed up for new ones, and realizing how much I need to do to keep up with my time frame I want(because I can't stand not having a plan and keeping to it)-The 200mg of Seroquel at night isn't a big deal, it helps put me to sleep, but taking ANOTHER 200mg of Seroquel 6-8hrs later just knocks me out, and it will during the middle of the day if i wait to take it. Last time, when my "family doctor" started me on it, she had me start with 50mg and work my way up over 2weeks so my body had time to get used to it, HE refuses to acknowledge this could work, simply I think, because I suggested trying that. Jars a re a good idea, going to work on that, it has been a while since I meditated and honestly I think I'm only this calm and "relaxed" because I've made a huge effort to work out this past week and a half, I've gone 4 times(Yay me!) and it's brought my crazy hypomania down a few notches. Not enough however, to put me to sleep tonight but oh well, beggars can't be choosers and I slept well last night. Going to work on meditating again though, I think it's a solid idea.

Congratulations on your education plan. Very admirable of you to have accomplished so much, and after dropping out of HS.
Remember that plans often need to be revised. Better to revise or slow it down than to have to completely abandon it for a few months while you recuperate from a huge fall/crisis. Part of planning is seeing ahead, anticipating problems, trying to nip them in the bud.
Don'[t know what to say about the doc, is this reg Seroquel or XR? Can you split pills? Ask the pharmacist on the phone.
Glad to hear you are taking the initiative on exercising, 4 times this week. Yay, You ! It may not be "the cure" but it sure does help.
Hope the meditation and visualization will add to your regime.

Tried meditating last night, got to sleep for 3hours(Yay!) The Seroquel is XR so no I can't split it, which is what thoroughly sucks. But I'm just rding it out with anxiety meds and 200mg of my Seroquel until I can see the new pdoc in January, for all I know they may do a new assessment and want me on something completely different. Originially I was put on the Seroquel from seeing/hearing things that weren't there on occasion when I was manic and I've never had a "real" mood stabilizer like lamictal or depakote added in, other than lithium that caused a bad reaction. So, just waiting out. Thank you for the advice!

I am amazed at all you are doing and so impressed with your educational plan.  It sounds like it is important to preserve that plan and opportunity.  Like Tortoise I wonder if there is one thing you can take off your plate so you can make sure you stay on track educationally.

I also admire how you are not doing anything drastic about this pdoc and the medication, butare waiting it out until January.  I can only imagine how frustrating it is to have to deal with him and many people would have just thrown in the towel.  Hang in there.
