Tortoise, you have certainly been through it recently. I hope you're
going to have a good trip when that comes up and will feel well the whole time.
I can tell from your post that you saw a dental specialist for your wisdom teeth removal. Please permit me to add a helpful hint to anyone else who is going to have wisdom teeth extracted:
See a plastic surgeon. They can give a pill that numbs the pain receptors in the brain several days before surgery and then give a
local anesthetic at the time of surgery. There is virtually no swelling after the teeth are extracted, only mild sensitivity in the area where the teeth were removed (so that you're careful about
eating anything that could get caught).
It's far, far more comfortable than the old dental routine in my view, but then everyone has to make a choice. I post this information only because not everyone knows that a plastic surgeon is very capable of the job and the end result may even be superior to that of a dental specialist--for wisdom teeth(I don't know about any other teeth).
I.G.
