Hi. I am so sorry for what you are going through. The moderator who posted recommended that you get help from a psychiatrist and I agree wholeheartedly. What I would add is to allow your husband to come to those visits with you (check that your psychiatrist will allow this, most will.) My psychiatrist (Pdoc) was happy to allow my hubby in at no extra charge. After I have my talk with him each visit, he gives my hubby time to ask questions, make comments, etc. Sometimes my hubby shares observations about me that I miss or forget to tell my Pdoc. I don't always like it, but it is important that my Pdoc knows everything in order to help me with good advice, med adjustments, etc. It has been a wonderful help to my husband to be there -- Over the past 5+ years, my Pdoc has given him a wonderful education about bipolar and the meds. He's eased both of our fears. Our marriage was quite stressed before and now it is quite solid. We have our moments that still stress us sometimes, but we are now solid. I wish you well -- I hope the two of you can heal. And I hope this suggestion can help you and anyone else who reads it.
