Well I'm finally free!!!! The case was about
a murder trial. This guy was being accused of killing this lady's husband. To make it short and sweet. She was a terrible witness and some of the detective work could of used some work. I was set on him being not guilty for a number or reasons and the longer we deliberated which took 2.5 days the more I was sick of hearing all of this. The second day I lost my cool and yelled at this other juror because he was talking about
mental people and some other stuff and I just called him out on it and said pretty much put him in his place. I cried later because I'm just so emotionally drained. I ended up saying he's guilty for some good reasons but a part of me did it because I just couldn't stand hearing anymore of the same stuff and I was almost the only one. I just need to take care of me right now and get the rest that I truly need. Do some relaxing things and get all the stuff I need to do around the house to get caught up. I know it was my civic duty, but I also think if someone would of told me when I voted that this is what I might have to do, I would have never voted. It's just not worth it to me. I'm sure there are a lot of people that might think differently but at this point I DON'T CARE!!! Now it's back to my normal day life. Thank goodness.

I'm glad you got through this and it's finally over. It sounded really stressful. It's definitely time for you to relax.
Hope you're able to get a good rest tonight and tomorrow will be a good day for you.

Next time this ever happens to me I'm going to get a doctor's excuse and then I won't have to go through that crap ever again. I'm still not sure what I'm doing. It's either to enjoy the day and go kayaking so I can relax and enjoy the outdoors or get some bills situated, laundry and go grocery shopping. Plus I'm not sure what we are doing later since it's my son's 13th birthday.

Happy Birthday to him! I hope he has a great day!
He's 7 days before me.
Did he get his stitches out? How is he feeling?

He had a great day. I called him and his sister off school so they could go fishing and spending time with each other. They had a great time. It's nice to see that. He finally got his stitches out and 2 hours later it split
open 1/4 inch more. There is nothing they can do since the skin all around it is still healing. So we just have to keep it cleaned and he can't do anything. Try telling a 13 year old not to do anything. Ha, good luck with that.

Glad he had a good day. I'm sorry the wound
opened out. Sounds like it's going to leave a scar.
Lol. I know what you mean. When I was 11, I fell down in school and got a deep cut one Friday morning. I stayed in school with it. It was probably the first time my teachers and friends saw me crying.
My mom took me to the doctor the following day. No stitches, but it keep bleeding with any little shake or move, and lots of inflammation. At 11, it was hard to stay quiet and one place even though in pain.

That bad thing about
him and scars is that he keloids really bad. It's like a very thick scar. He says he's going to have girls all around him since he has so many scars. He's such a twerp. Funny though.

My scar on my knee looked like a keloid scar when I was younger, but I don't think it was since it never itched, etc. It is still there the same way.
There are creams for it and removal process if he's interested later on.
Yes... I agree with him. His scars may draw girls towards him, so he will like that. Lol

We've tried doing creams because he has two bad ones on his head and nothing works. Even if he got surgery it would still scar again.

Kayaking sounds good to me and more relaxing than bills and laundry!

Kayaking is so much better than bills and laundry!!! I went kayaking today with my parents. It started out a mess but it got a little better. We certainly didn't as far as I do when I'm by myself. I certainly realized that I take myself quite a ways away and make pretty good time.
