Finally Finished!!!

Well my niece has been married for a little over 6 years. I started making a quilt for the wedding present. I had it almost done. It just needed to be quilted together. I thought I was going to do it by hand but it just was way to overwhelming since it's a king sized quilt. I decided to knot it together with yarn. It doesn't look as amazing but the love and the beauty is still there. I washed it and now I'm getting it ready to ship. She's seen the pictures but can't wait to feel it and see it in person. I'm so glad that I put my mind to doing this and got it done this week. Now I'm getting my family together and seeing if they want to help me make a wedding anniversary quilt for my parents. It's going to be the pattern of Trip Around the World. It has a lot of design fabrics that had their adventures and color that will match. I'm so excited to get it started. I have plenty of time since their anniversary isn't till December. Now that I know I can finish it a different way and still make it look amazing. So excited!!!

Knitting is an art and those that do it have an awesome talent! My grandmother who died of alzhiemers while i was in middle school made me one when i was young. I keep that clean cherish it. A quilt can really be an important part of your life with memories throughout it

I do lots of crafts. I can crochet a little, knit, tatting, quilt, sewing crafts, ornaments and friendship bracelets. I love crafts they are so much fun, relaxing and they are great to share and to teach to someone else. I have a quilt that is my Great Grandma's and it's all my favorite colors of blue. I want to use it so much but I rather cherish it for years so I put it in my cedar chest. My kids still have their first quilts that I made but now it's more like a throw instead of a quilt for their bed. Now I'm going to have to make a quilt for them that looks like what their are into. All I know is when I give a craft that I make to someone it makes me feel good that they will love it just has I loved making it.
