Bipolar treatment that does not cause weight gain

Hi nici,  Wow that is a tough question.  Most of the medications for bipolar and like illnesses do cause weight gain, which is depressing.  However, I have heard really good things on Abilify (ck sp?) their are quite a few clients I have had on this medication that actually say that they have lost weight.  Maybe someone else will also have some insight into this....

hi thanks for the response,i have a eating disorder as well as bp so on bad moments with ed i wont take my med for bp,wich is causing probs.im pleased with the replys i can have a word with my pd next visit.thanks sooooooooo much.
