Day 4 of Lamictal and SCARED!

This is my 4th day of Lamictal and 5th day off Prozac and I am in a SEVERE depression. Seriously considering suicide, cant get out of bed, dont want any stimulation and am really scared. This is the worst it has ever been for me. I dont know if I will ever get better

I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well! Don't give up!!! I hope that you will find a solution and maybe you should go back to your doc and tell them how you are feeling, Lamictal may not be for you! I hope everything works out well for you! Don't give up, hang in there!

You should consult your doctor ASAP. If you are feeling that bad she/he should know about it. Perhaps there is something that can be done until the meds kick in. Don't suffer in silence. You may need a different med to help with the switch. Please call. Keep us posted.

Sorry to hear things are soooo bad--I'll be praying for you.

I'm on Lamictal & Prozac. If I go off the Prozac for more than 3 days, I end up depressed. Wonderful as Lamictal is, I still need the Prozac--Pdoc finds that weird, but it works and that's all that matters. As your Pdoc about it. With this combination, I've done very well--hope it works for you.
