Does anyone else here "see things"? I see things all the time I seen that it was a bipolar l symptom but I haven't seen anyone talk about it. I see random things but most of the time it's me dying either by suicide or freak accident. Other times it's just random things. Once when I was driving I saw a little girl just in the middle of the street but no one was there. Does this happen to anyone else?

Fragile - I am caretaker for my 14-year-old grandson. He is bipolar with psychotic features. In the past, he has experienced visual (seeing), auditory (hearing), and olfactory (smelling) symptoms. They are all related symptoms when he is psychotic.

It would probably be a good idea for you to see a therapist or pdoc and describe your symptoms to them.

 I'd like to but money is the issue...what would happen if I told the doc the truth? My last social worker put me away when I mentioned suicide. Which I understand but if I tell them I'm seeing it happen and hearing things wont they for sure lock me up again?

i'm bpII and have mild visual (feel and see things) and auditory (noises get stuck in my head in loops) hallucinations. my pdoc prescribed seroquel to be taken at night when they seemed to be worse. it really helped me to sleep and the hallucinations pretty much stopped. he recently told me to stop taking it because it was causing weight gain. i am beginning to have the hallucinations again, so i need to mention it to him next time i see him.
