for the first time since i was 15 nearly med free.i was taking lithium 800mg lamical 400mg serquel 400mg and 20mg celaxa.these past few months i am complety of the celaxa and lamical.down to 200mg lithium.still takeing the serquel just 50 mg just for sleep.stoped and started my meds numerous times.felt crap on them so many side effects.first time in years my hand tremours are no more.i feel derpressed but ive felt this way for nearly a year.really exited about coming of meds. wish me luck

Hi gaz,

I have been off of all my bp meds since October. Lately things have been pretty bad, but all in all it has been much better being off the meds. I may have to go back on them someday, but being med free is great. I wish you all the best, take it slow, and take care of yourself.

hello gaz, i'm a new member to the forums

good luck on your quest to go off meds. I'm still on pretty much a heavy regime much like your old one. Kind of scary thinkig where I'll be without them, but my mom is a role model for me. Shes bipolar and has been off meds since she was 35. She's now 65 and very stable... a pillar of hope for us all I believe. there is remission and respite after all we go through, just might come sooner for one lucky as yourself... or later, just have to persevere yah? (thats what I keep telling myself despite the fact I'm pretty low these months)
