37 year old male... I live in Kansas

I was diagonsed 2 yrs ago..

The medications I am on are Paxil, lamictil, strattra,Seroquel and risperdol..

I am happy to say, I have been stable for 2 yrs.

Through medication and counseling..

I followed a rough path to Mental Wellness..

I started having problems when i was 5 yrs old..

Unforunatly, back then resources were small and few..

I turned to self medicating, when I was  13 yrs old.

Alcohol and ..

 I am Happy and proud to say I have been free and aclohol free

for 2 yrs..

I am finnaly enjoying life, and have, a loving and very supportive partner..

Hoping to hear from anyone who had a hard path as well, or, not

Its a non stimulant..Unlike Riatlin (sp)

It helps me concentrate on tasks and with focusing

My docotor choose this medication..

Since i had a history of abussing Stimulants..

As in over the counter medication, such as, (Mini-thins) and street (meth)..

It works for me...

The bad side that I have seen with other medications for ADHD..

The patient abusses his medication or sell's it to other who don't have ADHD..

Since it is a stimulant..
