my mania

Can anyone tell me, what are the chances of expierencing another manic episode after its been almost 10 years without any?
I was diagnosed with biploar 1 disorder at the age of 22. I am now 28 and have only had one manic episode that was so severe i also had pyschosis. i was put on medication and felt better, although i have not been on any medication sense, and its been over 6 years without any manic episode. is it possible to experience this only once ? i know the usual statistics, I don't seem to fit.

Basically what are the chances of another manic episode

I can't say I've experienced any major depression in the past six years either. There are days when I feel very down but it clears quickly and the next day I am feeling better. No deep lasting clinical depression. I experienced only one real depressive episode when I was 17/18 that lasted for severel long months, with insomnia which was a pre curser for the later mania. I guess I had gone full 22 years without any mania, so maybe its possible to be free and clear for that long and get it again much later? Its just strange that it hit me with such force and to have no other symptoms sense, without medication makes me feel like I'm recovered.
