the break down

This morning was the worst. I took my lil girl out to the bus stop, and saw someone not stop as the bus did (wich is against the law) I flipped my lid i blew up . It was bad i made a  scene. Then i get a call from my daughters school telling me the she cannot ride the bus anymore due to a school board meeting last night stating that kids within such and such distance from the school may no longer ride the bus. Oh to least to say i was pissed.my husband leaves for work at 4 AM no one is even stirring around that time here lol. we dont wake until 7:00 AM. The school is about 1/2 -1 mile away . I also have a small child that is younger and not in school , and 1 car that my hubby uses of course. Anyways , when the lady from the school told me that she cannot ride anymore i went postal! I told that women "a few choice words" the she cant keep her darn bus if i have to i will walk my child thru rain sleet snow and get my small child out in it aswell!! Also that i guess i dont pay my taxes for that darn bus hmmmm? !  YES i do ! how can it hurt ? to pick her up? ugh i was so hot so i went to the school and threatend a teacher and school board memeber and now here i am regreting my whole day =(

The hardest thing to do is to learn to really think out what you want to say before you say it. I know that I struggled with that for a long time. Lamictal is really helping me do that, but I also have made a conscious choice to keep from reacting to every situation with a blow up. It does not make me feel good after I have exploded on someone. Sometimes it still happens.

I do know that it would have been difficult in the situation you are describing. Next time try to stop yourself and see if you can think of a more positive action to take rather than blowing up....

((((Rain)))) I am so sorry that you had such a bad day. I think that I would have blown up both times too. I have a hard time controlling my emotions. However I do think that you were justified in getting upset. as someone suggested, call all the board members and talk to them. they need to know that you have no way of taking your child to school and if she doesn't go on the bus, then she doesn't go. I hope things are going better for you.
