Bipolar and ADHD

Hi everyone:

So my new psych rediagnosed me (again -- each time I try a new psych I get a revised Dx, but I like this guy) and he thinks I may have both bipolar and ADHD. Now this is an odd dx if you know me. I'm pretty high functioning and managed to get through school without any hiccups -- I have two master's degrees for Pete's sake. But I was hyperactive as a child (they didn't call it ADD then, *grin*) and I have some sensitivity and distractability issues now. I also have sleep apnea. So he's trying me on Nuvigil and took me off a few of my other meds. I haven't really noticed much difference with the Nuvigil but my moods have been up and down the past few days. Yesterday I was distraught and depressed, today a little twitchy and nervous feeling. It's been about a week now. I was hoping to see some difference.

Anyone else have bipolar and ADHD? How is your doc treating you? Anyone tried Nuvigil or Provigil? Any luck?
