Do you look different between episodes?  I look VERY different - and I don't have severe episodes while on meds.  I'd love to see phoso fo anyone brave enough to post.  I don't want to feel like the only one whe has a big physical difference.

I definitely look and feel totally different on a good vs bad day..

even the way i do my hair or dress reflects my mood. sometimes i'll leave my hair curly and no matter how many times i look in the mirror and play with it i hate it so i staighten it and i immediately feel better. vice versa for straight hair, sometimes i just dunk my hair in the sink and start over.. a lot of the times i go home in the middle of the day to change my clothes because i just feel so uncomfortable with an outfit if say my shorts were too short and i feel self conscious in the mood i'm in, or i dressed in an outfit that i thought was too colorful and went home and put jeans and a black shirt on and felt great.

I took the last picture 10 minutes ago.. i'm sitting outside in the sun on my computer chain smoking. i quit for 9 months but this week has been pretty awful so i bought two new packs and i've been smoking my way through 3 at a time.

You do look tons different!  The straight haired good day pic to the second bad day pic looks like a totally different person.  You could put them side-by-side and if a person didn't know better s/he wouldn't know it was the same person.

Nice to put a face to a name , BTW.

  You know is funny, i never thought of it like that. But my wife can see when i am not feeling well, so i must also look different. Thankfully i am generally in hypomania so i tend to be smiling and happy in every picture i have of me.

   And it is nice to put some faces to the names. Maybe some others will post up here so we can see what they look like.

This is truly interesting, I hope more people post their photo. But I think a lot of it comes from the expression of the faces too. When you are down you don't smile much. When you are happy, your eyes smile even if you are not smiling with your mouth. But there is a lot of difference in both sets of photos and I think this is an interesting topic.

Tortoise, you never let me down! I haven't been on in a few days (sorry gang) and this post was the best! It is so great for us to acknowledge this and share. And your little note about the mood states were both in the same day made me laugh right out loud! Thanks! I will post my pics soon; have to wait for a better day. You girls are both so pretty too!

You're right there is a difference. I don't take many pictures unless I'm in a decent mood, so I don't have any comparison, but I think you're on to something.
