I'm so happy today

I'm finally back in my home state for the summer. I am away from my mom, I am free!
It took eleven hours to drive here but it was worth it. I just walked to the local produce stand and got all these yummy peaches and strawberries and grapes and a fruit salad for lunch, all for $6!

I'm happily unpacking and settling into my room for the summer and I'm not stressed out about a single thing.
This is the happiest and most optimistic I have felt in a long long time. I really hope this isn't a mood swing. I think I'm actually happy this time.

It feels good.



Picking up my next prescription of seroquel because my mom is taking me off her insurance since I left her house and seroquel is very expensive.. I only have one thing to say.
Good riddance, mom!
I think I love being 18.

I am sure there are reasons why you don't want to be around your Mom. My Mom was just dx'd with stage 4 lung cancer....so I hope you have your Mom in your life for a very long time, even if there is some distance, remember how precious life is.

I also want to say, YAY! I am very glad to hear you have had a great day (the fruit sounds wonderful) and it sounds like you are going to have a great summer! I hope that it's not a mood swing and the stability lasts. Afterall, that is our goal, stability.

  Glad to hear you are happy and settling in. One word of advice, dont be so ready to dump you rmom just yet. Just give it time and see how things settle out. My mom and i went thru a very rough and rocky patch from my 18-28 years. Then we reconciled and she is one of my greatest treasures. We still dont see eye to eye on many things, but we honestly listen to each other and learn from what each other has to offer.

 BTW, now is the time to start contacting places about help with getting your meds, even if all they have is free sample packs. That way at the last minute you arnt searching for meds and going without.
