bi polar, pts, and now postpartum

I haven't posted on here since 2008 and ALOT has happened since than but bottom line.
I'm 20 and I have a 5 month old daughter who was born on Christmas morning.
I live with my fiance and both him and I are bi polar.

I'm on my meds still which is 450 of welbutrin xl
I stopped the meds while I was pregnant but had to get back on them after 3 weeks of breastfeeding because I got really depressed and could just tell that I needed to be back on my meds.

about a week and a half ago I started feeling really depressed and wanted less and less to do with my daughter.
I love her to death and I am still capable of caring for her but recently I feel as if a special connection I once felt with her is gone and I don't know how to get it back.

I'm so stressed and my therapist recently moved so I have no one to talk to.

Has anyone here been through postpartum? Is it normal to go through this? Will I ever be able to feel that connection I once felt with her again?

 

    Dont give up hope, there are better days ahead. Just hold on and there will be some great people here to handle your question. And sorry your therpast moved, however we are here to talk to you and many people have found that talking to other BP people is easier since we understand what you are going thru.
