I started back to classes on Monday, I was excited, well prepared, and by the time I pulled into the parking lot the 2mg of clonazepam I'd taken was probably the only thing keeping me from being sick on the spot. My first class went alright and I always include space in between classes so I have time to chill and calm down, doing a workout in between at the gym that's right down the road between my first two. But my second class was entirely overwhelming, there were 37 people in this tiny classroom and I actually got up and had to leave class for 10minutes and it was only the first day! Anyone have any advice to help with this class? I have to take it but I'm wondering if I would be better off seeing if I could switch it to an online class, I'll struggle some because it's Math and online(Bleh!) but my other two classes actually count towards my GPA.
On a good note, I'd posted a few months back that my psychiatrist was crazy, so I'm back on my moms health insurance(Yay!) and I saw my General Practitioner who was absolutely amazing, she was completely understanding about the BP, gave me a refill on my clonazepam until I could get to the psychiatrist, she found a female psychiatrist in our area who she said works with a lot of BP and BPD who she thought I would benefit from and made my appointment herself, for Feb 9th! So I thought I'd share how excited I am about possibly having a good psychiatrist for the first time. And she wants to to start therapy, which should be easy because every time I go it's only a $10 copay! So only another month to go without a mood stabilizer and I'll be happy to get my mind to slow down, since mania is a big problem for me. Anyways, thanks in advance, I'll try to keep up with the forum a bit better than I have been!
