Has anyone ever tried Bacopa (Brahmi)? An Ayurvedic herb. Yes,probably grasping at straws. Just wanted to know if anyone has ever tried it and was it helpful?

GEM I RECOMMEND IT. I AM GETTING IT TODAY!! BRAHMI WITH PS AND GINGKO. DID A LOT OF RESEARCH, COGNITIVE, MEMORY, FOCUS, ETC. FATIGUE. OF TO THE CHEMIST TO PICK IT UP. JAMIE.

PRECIOUS JUST GOT IT. HELPS WITH MEMORY, alertNESS, CONCENTRATION, COGNITIVE FUNCTION, LEARNING AND PROBLEM SOLVING. IT IS BRAHMI + PS FROM SOY LECITHIN (PHOSPHATIDYLSERINE) + GINKO. GOOD STUFF. JAMIE. WOW HORSE PILL!!!

PS AS A SUPPLEMENT. NOT ALTERING MEDS OR ANYTHING GUYS, THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW. JAMIE

I tried it once before and remember it having a calming but not sedating affect. I did not continue on with it as I should have. Too impatient. Have to remember plant based meds are mild and take time. I am going to try some as well. At this point I do not feel I have anything to lose and from what I have read, no one has ever had a negative reaction. I also did some fact finding on Lithium Oratate. A lot of people have had good results with this as well and it does not have the high toxic potential of prescription Lithium, which absolutely made me a zoombie.

Feeling a bit better this morning, off work until Monday, that would make anyone happy! Looking forward to the Superbowl, if you remember I am a Steeler Fan. Troy Polamalu is my favorite player. Got to love that hair! And the fact that he is an awesome athlete and a kind and humble person off the field, unlike some of our players.

OK, off to find some natural relief. Post later.

Not encouraging anyone to go off RX meds especially if they are working ok for you. Mixing herbs and conventional meds is never a good idea. I am one of those people that prescription meds react badly for me. Just looking for another plan of action.

OK, found my Bacopa (Brahmi). about 45 minutes after taking it, I felt like I had taken a mild benzo, relaxed but not out of it. I have been so manic lately and that lead me to start drinking a bit in the evenings after work to relax. Problem is, I think a beer or two is OK but then it just takes more and more. So, on the wagon, never that hard for me as I really have never liked alcohol that much. Going to continue with the herb and give it some time, to see if it will help me get this restless spirit under control. Off to use this excess energy in a positive way.

Hope today finds you calmer as well.
