meds

I was diagnosed as bi 3 yrs. ago..and have always been sensitive to meds...for my whole life...if a med has adverse side effect, I will be plagued with it...have been on effexor for a mil. years( i'm not aware of the side effects) though I am aware that if I don't take it, I am on that side of hell...Ativan,percocet caused extreme itchiness...clonazapam cause me to have extreme forgetfullness...Geodone put me in a coma for 15 plus hours...I have been on various dosages of Lamictal for the last couple months...and I am interested/curious on the success/side effects that others on lamictal are experiencing???....I know something is 'off' with me but can't put my finger on it...I do know that effexor without ativan puts me in hypo mode andcauses lack of sleep..my therapist will only prescribe Ativan, clonazapam, and geodone for sleep/ calmness... but I can't tolerate that any of these...help

I am prescribed Buspar 15mg bid for anxiety. My pdoc keeps saying that it is an antidepressant, is it? If so why am I still so depressed? She added Effexor 37.5 yesterday and I can't stop shaking. help...

I hear ya 61 mom! I too worry about what meds are doing to my brain and body but I can't function without them and sometimes with them,(then I have to change meds.) At least we're all in this together. "Manic depression is a frustrating mess" (can't remember his name that sang that- memory shot. Sorry)
