Hey gang,
I'm sorry I've been away for a few months. My depression hit rock bottom and I somehow managed to stay out of hospital and continued to work with only a couple of mental health days. I was in with pdoc every 7 days. Meds have been all over the place. So much stress....
A lot has happened in the last few weeks and I was handling it all pretty well until yesterday and today; I am feeling overwhelmed.
about
a month ago, I had to get a new (used) car because my other one had seen its last day. It was stressful for awhile because it was a battle between me and spouse. But then we finally got one and it makes us happy. We also were contacted three weeks ago that our landlord was selling the condo we are renting so that meant having to move a fifth time within 6 years. We finally got our down payment together and bought a house.
For those of you who know me on this board and know my rough relationship with my partner, you may be wondering why we bought a house together. Well, we are still in counselling and he's actually done a lot of work on himself and we are trying to work through things better. We have become closer again and as long as we keep going to therapy, I think we can get to that happy place again. He has realized how wrong he is to get angry at me and that I truly don't deserve it.
Anyway, we just picked out the house about
a week ago and we move in next Friday! So on comes the move stress. I am feeling the pressure but I am trying to be happy.
Then today, we found out in Sept my hubby will be losing his job. That is a real blow, especially with the new house but I need to stay positive and hopeful that we will find something better for him.
I have been thinking of all of you each day and hope you are all well. I hope to catch up on posts in the next couple of days. Taking things slow right now.
Hugs,
Mogs

Hey Mogli...glad to know you and hubby are in therapy. Marriage counseling was a huge boon for us...we stayed together. Moving has always been ultra stressful for me too. But it can be freeing to toss or donate all those unused, unwanted items and start fresh in a new place. It will be fun to decorate too...maybe try a fun and light paint color like peach or pale aqua. At least hubby has some time before Sept. to find a new job. Life is stressful at times, no doubt about
it...just hang on and do what is in front of you hour by hour. That is all anyone can do. Somehow it all gets done. Be well.
